As a result of continued growth, we are actively seeking Fire Sprinkler Service Technicians to support our office in Auburn, ME. As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will service and modify automatic fire sprinkler systems.
As a Fire Sprinkler Service Technician, you will:
- Install overhead sprinkler piping.
- Install and service valves, devices, and trim.
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and maintain piping, fixtures, and equipment.
- Manipulate pipe to specifications.
- Attach pipes to walls, structures, and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.
- Inspect and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.
- Plan installations or repairs according to the conditions encountered.
Requirements:
- Ability to work an unpredictable and ever-changing work schedule
- Valid driver’s license
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical background preferred
Working Environment:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to coordinate and work well with others
- Proven ability and track record of performing work in a timely manner and meeting deadlines
- Ability to lift up to at least 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders
