Position Overview:
ANSER is seeking a CBRN Non-Material Requirements Analyst to support the Department of Defense (DoD) Joint Requirements Office (JRO) for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, & Nuclear Defense (CBRN-D) out of the Pentagon in Arlington, VA. The Analyst will support Joint Force CBRN non-materiel medical and non-medical requirements development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief of the CBRN Requirements Support and Analyses (CRSA) Branch to draft non-material requirements documentation in close coordination with stakeholders from Services, Combatant Commands, the Office for the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, and RDT&E organizations
- Support Joint non-material requirements development by drafting, staffing, and adjudicating requirements documents in alignment with the Joint Capabilities and Development System (JCIDS) process prior to entering them into DoD’s Knowledge Management / Decision Support (KM/DS) System
- Plan for, execute, and prepare meeting summaries in follow-up to, quarterly Integrated Concept Team (ICT) meetings with relevant stakeholders
- Develop and complete Joint Staff Action Packages (JSAPs) to accomplish tasks as necessary
- Provide non-materiel CBRN-D advice to representatives of the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Service personnel as needed
- Prepare and provide senior-level briefings and reports on various technical issues
Required Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) completed within the last 5 years
- 15+ years of relevant area experience (comparable to a retired O-5 or above or a former GS-14 or above)
- 5+ years of experience supporting Joint Staff or Service organizations
- Excellent writing & communication skills
- Conversant on the JCIDS process
Desired Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MS or higher) in related technical field
- 5+ years of experience developing Joint Force or Service requirements documentation
