Position Overview:

ANSER is actively hiring an Operations Manager to work full-time / onsite at the Mark Center in support of the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Chemical and Biological Defense Programs (ODASD(CBD)).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide scheduling and calendar management support.
  • Support senior leader stakeholder engagements and meeting management/execution.
  • Integrate and coordinate read-ahead materials for ODASD(CBD) leadership.
  • Prepare and reconcile travel documents in the Defense Travel System (DTS).
  • Coordinate travel visas and orders.
  • Provide administrative support to ODASD(CBD) leadership, to include greeting visitors, ensuring distribution and receipt of visitor clearances, coordinating VIP car service to official events, submitting visitors for building and parking clearance, managing office supplies, coordinating with facilities, managing office distributions lists, etc.
  • Utilize tools to link and integrate authoritative data sources for tracking, monitoring, and reporting on leadership decision making.
  • Coordinate closely with representatives across the DoD and interagency on ODASD(CBD) leadership engagements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess an active Top Secret security clearance with current SCI eligibility (TS/SCI).
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related work experience OR a High School diploma with 14+ years experience.
  • Experience providing support to Senior Executive Service (SES) Government personnel.
  • Experience coordinating travel and using DTS.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills related to executive correspondence.
  • Experience working in an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)/Joint Staff/Interagency environment.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, especially Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced team environment, and adapt to rapidly changing requirements.
  • Ability to produce quality work independently or in a group setting, provide solutions to customer issues, and solve problems quickly.
