Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Associates is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy and upper endoscopy. The center has five GI endoscopy procedure rooms with state-of-the-art safety and diagnostic equipment. RN / Center Director
We are currently searching for a Full Time RN / Center Director to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor operational activities for effective and efficient management of daily operations.
• Work collaboratively with Medical Directors, Board Members, Director of Operations and Clinical Director
• Direct supervision of nursing and patient care.
• Oversee medical staff, allied health credentialing, and human resources.
• Direct and participate in the center’s Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Committee (QAPI).
• Manage services provided by contracted vendors.
• Develop, interpret, and implement policies, procedures, regulations, programs, and recommended practices to meet requirements of regulatory and accrediting organizations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to infection control, environment of care, and emergency preparedness.
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating reports to promote cost containment and efficient use of Center’s resources.
Position Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year accredited College or University; Master’s Degree preferred.
• At least five (5) years of healthcare-management experience.
• At least one (1) year experience in an ASC.
• Active RN License.
• CPR Certification and ACLS Certification.
• Ability to multi – task effectively and efficiently.
• Able to recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors in a timely, professional manner.
• Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions, and professionally interact verbally and/or in writing with others.
• Computer literacy including experience working with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Smartsheets.
