The Center for Ambulatory Surgery is a five room multispecialty ambulatory surgery center located in Mountainside, NJ.  We are currently searching for a Per-Diem  Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.  Major responsibilities include: preparing patients for procedures; assisting physician during procedures; and providing care for patients in both PRE-OP and PACU areas. 

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification BLS, PALS, and ACLS, must be proficient in starting and maintaining IV's, and must have  experience in both adult and pediatric PACU experience.
