Northeast Endoscopy Center is an outpatient endoscopic facility specializing in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. Our facility was designed with patient privacy, safety and convenience in mind. Our procedures are performed in a comfortable, unrushed atmosphere at costs nearly half those of a hospital setting.
Patients at our facility are seen for colorectal cancer screening as well as for diagnostic testing for a wide variety of gastrointestinal problems, from heartburn to pancreatitis. We are currently searching for multiple per diem Registered Nurses to work four ten hour shifts, Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.
Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
