Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient facility located in New Castle County, Delaware. The center is AAAHC-accredited and Medicare-Certified. The center offers patients a more convenient, comfortable and safe alternative for their GI needs. At Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center we provide our patients with endoscopic procedures that visualize and treat conditions of the esophagus, stomach or small and large intestines without the need or inconvenience of a hospital stay. The procedures performed at the center, include colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemorrhoid banding, pH Probe studies, sacral nerve stimulation, and upper endoscopy. The 5,600 square foot endoscopy center offers a fully-equipped operating room, a recovery room, a spacious waiting room, and a full array of amenities to make patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.

We are currently searching for (FT, PT, or PRN) Registered Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.  Major responsibilities include: prepares patients for procedures; assist physician during procedure; provides care for patients in recovery and actively participates in all Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities.

Candidate must demonstrate proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge, and skills, be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, have a current state license to practice as a registered nurse, maintain basic cardiac life support certification and ACLS, and have at least two years of registered nurse experience.
