Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient facility located in New Castle County, Delaware. The center is AAAHC-accredited and Medicare-Certified. The center offers patients a more convenient, comfortable and safe alternative for their GI needs. At Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center we provide our patients with endoscopic procedures that visualize and treat conditions of the esophagus, stomach or small and large intestines without the need or inconvenience of a hospital stay. The procedures performed at the center, include colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, hemorrhoid banding, pH Probe studies, sacral nerve stimulation, and upper endoscopy. The 5,600 square foot endoscopy center offers a fully-equipped operating room, a recovery room, a spacious waiting room, and a full array of amenities to make patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.

We are currently searching for a Full Time LPN/LVN Staff Nurse to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.  Under the direction of the designated Registered Nurse, the Licensed Vocational/Practical nurse (LPN / LVN) is responsible for professional, direct patient care in the LPN/LVN role. The LPN/LVN will utilize the nursing process within their scope of practice to assist the Registered Nurse to develop, plan and execute patient’s plan of care.

You must have graduated from an accredited School of Nursing, have active, unrestricted LPN/LVN state license, have one year of nursing experience, be CPR and/or ACLS-PALS certified, and possess strong ethical and moral character references and basic computer skills.
