Endoscopy Technician

Our Board Certified surgeons have received advanced specialty training in ENT, Gynecology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics and Spine, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, General Surgery, Oral Surgery and Urology as well as Pediatric Ophthalmology and Urology. All of our staff are required to be certified in BLS (Basic Life Support) and all the clinical staff is ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certified.
We are currently searching for a FT Endoscopy Technician to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks. Major responsibilities include: cleaning procedure rooms; assisting physicians; processing scopes; restocking and changing over rooms; performing housekeeping duties and assisting in maintenance of all supplies.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first assist to doctors performing endoscopy/surgical procedures
- Exhibit qualities of a strong patient liaison in the procedure room
- Clean procedure rooms during turnover between cases
- Learn endoscopic/surgical equipment and technologies to assist the physicians during procedures
- Process scopes for reuse
- Restock and change over rooms
- Perform housekeeping duties in relation to room turnover between cases and at the end of the day
- Assist in maintenance of all supplies.
Qualifications:
- We are willing to train new team members, but experience is certainly a plus
- High School diploma/GED
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
