The Opportunity
Eventus is looking for a highly entrepreneurial and experienced Account Executive to join our team. You’ll be
responsible for generating new business, primarily focused on growing our private company (ie, not public company)
sector.
This is an add-on position with Eventus as we are experiencing continued growth. As a Business Development
Executive with the firm, you will report to our head of sales and work closely with the owners of the business in
building the right solution framework to match your prospects’ needs.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be qualifying prospects and generating demand for Eventus:
- Outreach to prospects via email, phone, events, and conferences.
- Building a strong referral network across our strategic service segments we work with regularly.
- Organize and update internal CRM (Pipedrive) systems to provide 100% accuracy
- Measure sales results and prepare data for weekly analysis
- Continue to develop and improve sales skills through training, shadowing, and coaching to increase results and qualify for promotions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years of sales experience, ideally in B2B consultative selling
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding goals
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational skills
- A self-starter attitude with a bias towards action (we are all hands-on and this role will have lots of autonomy)
