OmegaCOR, is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Executive (SSE) to join our team. The SSE will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying leads, and nurturing relationships with potential clients. This is a dynamic and challenging role, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our revenue growth and market expansion. This position will be counted on to act independently and take ownership of company results, including individual sales quota. While the exact responsibilities may vary, the main duties of the Senior Sales Executive can be summarized as follows:
POSITION SUMMARY
The OmegaCOR Sales Exec. will expand our sales activity throughout the DMV, regionally, and nationally. The role is based in Millersville, MD 21108, and local travel is a requirement. Note: the candidate must be willing to work in-person.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent proposal development, presentation and negotiating skills are needed to succeed in this role. Includes the following (other duties may be assigned):
Prospecting, qualifying, and closing net new business:
- Responsible for developing an appropriately sized sales pipeline through active prospecting using a variety of tools and sources.
- Responsible for fully qualifying prospective clients as likely purchasers of the OmegaCOR managed services solution. This will require working closely with the OmegaCOR technical team to ensure solutions configurations are appropriate and following the OmegaCOR sales process to move prospects through the sales cycle.
- Responsible for working with OmegaCOR team to build compelling proposals that ensure company profitability
- Responsible for all contract negotiations, with the help of any needed OmegaCOR resources, to bring prospective clients to closure.
Customer Relationship Management System and Sales Process:
- OmegaCOR philosophy is that ‘if it isn’t in CRM, it didn’t happen.’
- Follow OmegaCOR sales process and ensure that all customer interactions are captured properly in the CRM system.
- Provide any and all information required to enable OmegaCOR management to effectively monitor and report sales progress.
- Assist in market research and develop prospect lists for assigned verticals and territories. Update CRM with new companies and contacts.
Other duties will include:
- Sales Support
- Collaborate with Executive Leadership to prepare sales materials, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to assist in showcasing OmegaCor's value proposition.
- Attend Sales L10 meetings and complete assigned quarterly sales rocks.
- Relationship Building
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential clients, partners, and industry influencers to expand our network and generate referrals.
- Attend networking events, conferences, and industry gatherings to create new business opportunities.
- Market Intelligence
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer needs to position OmegaCor's services effectively.
- Achieving KPIs
- Work towards achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth. These KPIs include: leads, qualified opportunities, sales meetings, network meetings, forecasted value of pipeline, quarterly monthly recurring revenue (mrr) and forecast accuracy.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- A technical sales background is very helpful.
- Bachelor's degree (required) in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years successful sales performance as an individual contributor.
- Demonstrated above-quota experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in the I.T. services industry or a comparable field.
- Ability to effectively position managed services – outsourced and/or co-located.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
- Persuasive and confident approach with excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks simultaneously.
- Technical awareness and ability to understand and articulate OmegaCOR technology solutions.
- Results-driven and self-motivated.
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix-management environment with extended team members.
- Ability to resolve complex sales and business problems.
- Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- An effective sales team player that can work well with all sales, support, and customer personnel.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
