Job Summary
The Sales and Product Manager will manage the Urethane Concrete and Lining Product lines under the direction of the President and will be responsible for all aspects of sales of the product range (and others as needed) while working in conjunction with manufacturing as required to achieve the company's growth and sales objectives. In coordination with management, the sales and product manager will be held responsible for sales strategy and planning functions.
Essential Job Functions
· Develop an in-depth knowledge of our core product lines and utilize this knowledge to successfully sell these product lines, service, and offer product support to new and existing customers in the assigned territory
· Establish and/or maintain business relationships with key accounts including dealers and distributors
· Create and execute a territory sales plan that meets or exceeds established sales quotas and supports the company’s revenue and profit targets
· Construct a yearly product strategic sales plan to increase revenue and market share
· Establish new product opportunities within markets to support and achieve company strategic goals
· Form and support new distribution channels for product lines that are not currently offered by existing distribution channels in new geographical areas
· Develop clear understanding of market size for product lines, including details of competitor information, and plan to obtain market share to achieve company growth objectives
· Direct and oversee the hiring, training, managing, and development of the sales team
· Manage the performance of the sales team; define and review targets; and aid in the removal of obstructions
· Assist with the development of marketing collateral required to effectively promote the product range to field sales, distributors, and end customers
· Complete quarterly and yearly forecasting as required to ensure acceptable growth within our markets, that aligns with the goals and objectives of the business
· Provide weekly status updates based on customer visits, as well as a monthly product report outlining key actions accomplished and status of ongoing initiatives
· Attend meetings as required and completes required paperwork, reports, and support functions
· Plan and participate in industry or promotional events (trade shows, etc.) to cultivate customer relationships
· Performs all other related duties as required or assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or other relevant degree
· Typically requires 10 years of sales experience, preferably in the concrete, urethane, or aggregate industries. Preferably experience demonstrates a track record of expanding and establishing new and current markets.
· Prior experience using a CRM platform, preferably Salesforce.
· Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
· Advanced understanding developing comprehensive sales plans, strategy, and KPIs that align with overall goals and objectives of the business.
· Excellent communication and leadership skills; ability to lead and motivate a winning team.
Travel
· Requires travel approximately 50-75% of the time, with travel frequently being overnight and outside the local area to customers, distributors, etc.

20% Office, indoors in a typical office environment or other temperature-controlled area;
20% Factory, indoors in a non-temperature-controlled environment;
60% Outdoors, in a variety of temperatures and environments. Exposure to vibration from machinery; loud noise levels; dim lighting.
