Job Description
- Build and strengthen client relationships to develop long-term partnerships with us
- Grow existing account value by proactively cultivating, consulting and caring for clients
- Pitch and close high-end technology solutions to new and existing clients
- Win profitable new clients from market outreach
- Consistently meet or exceed gross profit quota goals
- Obtain expert knowledge of company and industry products and services
- Own client account through vigorous research and relationship development
- Maintain sales activity expectations within CRM
- Generate sales quotes and orders
- Perform other related duties as required
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and close new solution sales opportunities with existing end-user clients
- Win net new accounts that fit our niche of safety and security technology solutions
- Promote and market our products and services within assigned territory and accounts
- Identify opportunities for surveillance, access control, bi-directional amplifiers, and other emerging technology solutions for us.
- Attend in-person sales team and company-wide meetings to resolve issues and maintain pipeline health and hygiene goals
- Identify end user engagement opportunities through associations, conferences, and tradeshows
- Daily prospecting with prospective and existing clients using all available tools
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecast in NetSuite CRM, including realistic probabilities and close dates
- Maintain CRM data for new and existing account development
Qualifications:
- Desire to always live by Core Values
- 3+ years of technical solutions sales experience
- Two-way radio solutions experience preferred
- Strong technical acumen and ability to speak towards our products and solutions
- Must be a self-motivated problem solver
- An ideal candidate will be able to help clients envision solutions, services, and applications
- Solid working knowledge of CRM, NetSuite CRM experience is a plus
- Development and execution of sales and go-to-market strategies in a highly collaborative environment is imperative
- Proven history of quota obtainment and client service
- Track record of managing multiple account projects to client satisfaction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Seek to understand before seeking to be understood, both internally and externally
- Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills including C Suite interactions
- Time management skills are required, and candidates must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
Location & Travel Requirements:
Seeking candidates based in the Dallas and Ft Worth Areas. Account Managers are expected to be in their territories daily with one sales meeting at the office each week. Most travel will be within the territory; no air travel is anticipated.
Basic Requirements
- 3+ years of technology solution sales experience required
- Two-way radio or communication technology sales experience preferred
Training Provided:
- We provide in-person training on CRM, radio and surveillance solutions, and company processes
- We will also provide manufacturer-sponsored training, especially through Motorola Solutions.
