The owner and lead designer, has had a lifelong passion for design that has taken her from growing up in the Southwest to settling in the Northeast. For over 25 years she’s honed her craft, building on what she learned at the University of Texas, the Culinary Institute of America, and Parsons School of Design. From her experience running her own catering company, as a mother and wife, and as a highly recognized designer, she’s come to believe that a centered home is the key to a rewarding life.
We currently have an opening for an Interior Architect.
Job Responsibilities
- Project coordination for all design related details of luxury residential projects
- Communicate regularly with project team, client, and suppliers
- Help with development & selections for design proposals/presentations
- Plan and meet project critical timeline requirements
- Manage design schedules and client approvals
- Consistent updates to Design Manager
- Inventory existing product
- Assist with budgets & pricing
- Complete detailed floor plans, elevations, cabinetry drawings
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 4 years experience
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required
- Proficiency in InDesign and Photoshop is a plus
- Proficiency in IVY ordering system is a plus
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously/manage efficient timelines
- Ability to understand and execute details of different architectural and interior design styles
