Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Manager, Data Governance builds, manages and sustains data governance function and data governance center of excellence effectively at the ADA. Incumbent provides leadership, strategy, guidance, standards, tools, best practices, research, support and training for implementing data governance. Manages data quality, reporting and analytics projects as required.
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree (12 Years experience in lieu of a degree)
- 8 years experience in the following:
- Any of the Data governance tools
- Establishing data governance, data standards, data quality and/or enterprise data management
- Data governance metrics
- Managing data governance reviews
- Tracking & improving conformance to data governance standards
- Leading data enrichment projects, including project plans, defining goals and deliverables, and monitoring progress
- ETL(Extract, Transform, Load) processes
- Building data inventory, data classification, data provenance, and implementing a data governance tool organization-wide
- Building dashboards
- Leading data governance committees
- BI and visualization tools
- Excellent querying, visualization and analysis skills
- Proficient with any of the Data governance and data quality tools
- Proficient with data querying and validating data outputs
- Good understanding of any cloud platform
- Interaction with data in and out of Salesforce
- Ability to provide training and guidance to team members on best practices around data governance and data quality
- Work closely with stakeholders to communicate, measure and improve data quality standards and their importance to the organization
- Ability to understand and interpret technical design and solution architecture documents
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio
