About The Role
The Facilities, Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness and orderly condition of the site.
What You'll Do Here
- Regular cleaning of suites, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, stairs and other areas so that health standards are met.
- Perform heavy cleaning tasks, including but not limited to, cleaning floors, washing walls/glass and removing rubbish.
- Make beds as instructed.
- Maintain cleaning carts with linens, toiletry items, cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Remove and replace laundry bags from bathrooms.
- Disinfect surfaces
- Empty and clean waste baskets and dispose of trash/recycling appropriately.
- Operate various cleaning equipment including but not limited to, polishers, vacuum cleaners, battery powered floor scrubber.
- Maintain all cleaning equipment ensuring they are in sanitary condition.
- Maintain appropriate inventory of consumable supplies such as paper products, air fresheners, clean mops, microfiber towels and notifying appropriate supervisors as necessary.
- Report all safety hazards, necessary repairs or items needing replacement.
- Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Related work experience preferred.
- Must be able to lift and carry over 20lbs. and perform various physically demanding tasks.
- Stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
