SHIFT: Must be able to work 1st and/or 3rd Shift

PAY: Commensurate with experience

PRIMARY PURPOSE: Perform intermediate to advanced level electrical and PLC maintenance skills under the direction of the manager. Proficiently use electrical tools, instruments, shop equipment and, as needed, computers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:

  • Responsible for following Job Safety Analysis guidelines to ensure safe operations
  • Install conduit and wiring
  • Install a wide variety of electrical devices
  • Repair/rebuild upgrades to electrical equipment and PLC's
  • Install and program PLC’s, read ladder logic diagrams, understand PLC principles and design considerations.
  • Use laptop computers to troubleshoot logic circuit problems and to program PLC’s
  • Troubleshoot electrical equipment problems to improve uptime
  • Work as a part of the maintenance team
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders
  • Demonstrate Mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Responsible for the care and maintenance of all electrical and electronic shop equipment and tools.
  • Perform other assigned task as needed

  • Electrical
  • PLC’s
  • Ladder Logic Diagrams

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a background check, employment verification and drug screening
  • Positive and Verifiable Work History
