Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in purchasing materials, supplies and services at the most favorable terms for the organization
  • Qualifies vendors, evaluates bids and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services.
  • Tracks purchases, monitors vendors quality and maintains a current database
  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing material and repairs to support material programs.
  • Assist on the evaluation of available inventory in the marketplace.
  • Ensuring that all purchases have documentation that meet AerSale's Quality requirements.
  • Reporting on PO activity as required by Management.
  • Preparing and distributing Vendor Management reports.
  • Reviewing existing orders and expediting as needed.
  • Updating the POs with current price and delivery status.
  • Interface with Program Management regarding market availability of material and coordinating purchases for customer programs.
  • Complying with Corporate Purchasing policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • oordinatewith Corporate Quality to ensure that vendors and purchases meet company requirements
  • Clerical duties include but are not limited to screening phone calls, filing & scanning

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in aviation products.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be able to work on projects of limited complexity in a support role.
  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Must be efficient with a desire to succeed.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work product.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to use hands and arms for repetitive movements, such as movement of wrists, hands, fingers while typing.
  • May occasionally be required to lift and carry up to 10lbs.
