Job Description

ADNET Technologies, LLC is seeking a Help Desk (TAC) Escalation Engineer to join our Team within our Technical Assistance Center. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as a team member to provide level 2 technical support to ADNET’s clients through managed services, telephone, remote, on site and email support while ensuring their satisfaction. You will be called upon to resolve a wide range of problems, such as desktop issues, managed server or workstation issues or server emergencies. You will also be involved in maintaining and supporting the ADNET internal network.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to ADNET clients based on established procedures through various support mediums (telephone, email and remote) with emphasis on working on critical/challenging issues.
  • Provide remote services for ADNET managed services clients based on established procedures.
  • Maintain information regarding solutions and client changes in our case management system and network documentation.
  • Recommending proactive solutions to recurring issues
  • Functioning as part of a client engagement team and keeping client engagement managers and other involved parties informed of problems, progress on issues and resolutions
  • Maintaining information regarding solutions and client changes and tracking service tickets in ADNET’s Professional Service Automation system
  • Staying abreast of industry changes and new technologies that have impact to our clients

Qualifications

  • A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical experience with a focus on end user support in a network environment or a combination of education and experience. Possess at least one major industry certification.
  • A demonstrated aptitude working with computers, LANs, operating systems, cloud-based technologies, mobile devices and various software applications
  • Experience using a PSA or Help Desk ticket system is a plus
  • Familiarity with managed server and workstation management applications
  • An ability to work in a professional office environment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and a vehicle for transportation to and from ADNET’s office and client locations as required. Occasional overnight travel required to attend training or visit a client site.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to thrive working both independently and in a team environment
  • Proficiency managing multiple projects under tight deadlines, with the ability to effectively balance priorities and meet assigned goals
