What Your Day Could Look Like:

Leading and inspiring a team of Direct Support Professionals (Caregivers) who count on your guidance and support.

Overseeing the daily operations of our group homes to make sure everything runs smoothly, safely, and according to plan.

Coordinating services and activities for residents so their days are fulfilling and goal-focused.

Rolling up your sleeves when needed — covering shifts, handling on-call responsibilities primarily evenings or weekends, or providing support for our clients.
- Implements required safety drills and completes safety checklist as required and insures staff’s training requirements are current. Ensures staff is scheduled for required trainings and re-certifications on a timely basis.
- Assists with schedules and facilitates monthly house staff meetings and other agency meetings as required.

Building relationships with residents, their families, and your team to ensure everyone feels heard and supported.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three (3) years experience working with the disabled adult population or related human services field required.
- One (1) year supervisory experience required.
- Associates degree in a related human services field may substitute for working experience.
- Ability to read and write English in order to understand and interpret written procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are imperative in order to be successful in this role.
- Ability to promote teamwork and motivate individuals!
Other Requirements: Must pass pre-employment drug and TB screen, and Agency, Federal and State Department of Health background investigations. Must have own, reliable transportation and an insurable driving record. Must possess a valid NM driver's license, and proof of auto liability insurance. Must be able to bend, stoop, balance, push, pull, frequently, requires the ability to sit at a desk and perform typing/keyboarding tasks frequently. Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs., with assistance or independently, bend, stoop, reach above shoulder(s), balance, push, pull frequently. Must be able to sit, crawl, climb 2-4 feet, crouch, kneel, and carry occasionally. Must be able to support up to 130 lbs. Adelante is a drug free workplace. Job Type: Full-Time (Monday thru Friday). Primarily on-call on Evenings and Weekends
Pay: From $20.00 per hour.
