Our broad range of antioxidants, light stabilizers, polymerization inhibitors, polymer modifiers, antiozonants & curing agents are employed to either aid processing, to chemically modify the polymer or to combat degradation, thereby extending a product’s life, appearance & performance by maintaining its strength, stiffness or flexibility.

We recently announced that our development of WESTON® 705 liquid antioxidant, the next generation of nonylphenol-free phosphite technology, and received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for food contact applications. The WESTON® 705 will be manufactured at our Morgantown facility.    

Overview of Position:

  • Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to improve overall quality and efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Implement chemical processes into manufacturing by translating processes from a lab environment to full scale productionPrimary Responsibilities:

  • Working independently, but under the guidance of the Process Improvement Group Leader the incumbent will:
    • Develop viable manufacturing processes
    • Research manufacturing processes for new and existing products
    • Develop optimized plant processes
    • Work closely with colleagues in manufacturing to resolve any production issues
    • Provided detailed written and verbal reports
    • Work in full compliance with EH&S policies and the company code of conduct

 

Experience:

 

With Bachelor-            6-9 years

With Masters-              3-6 years

With PhD-                   0-3 years

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree is preferred.
