Adams & Associates, Inc., at the Miami Job Corps Center is hiring an Internship (Work-based Learning) Coordinator to provide students with employability training leading to full-time jobs, higher education or advanced training.

Responsibilities:

• Build community partnerships for student work-based learning (internship) opportunities. 
• Coordinate and manage Work-Based Learning program ensuring students are actively participating in on- and off-Center on-the-job training assignments to improve employability skill-set.
• Interview, recommend for hire, discipline, recommend for termination and evaluation performance of WBL students. 
• Provide students with transportation services and participate in Career Transition Readiness/Grad-90 program.
• Establish supportive/mentoring relationship with students throughout their enrollment.
• Provide employability and career counseling. 

Qualifications:

• Associates degree from an accredited school
• Prefer previous experience working with young adults or supporting others with job placement.
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
