Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Record start and stop of jobs in Ultipro.
  2. Stretch per guidelines prior to start up.
  3. Gauge molded parts per Control Plan.
  4. Enter data in to Win SPC
  5. Monitor Data for Statistical Process Control
  6. Communicate with Molding personnel (Molding Manager, Shift Supervisor, Cell leader or Process Technician) if “out of control” or “out of spec” condition exists.
  7. NCM product per NCM procedure.
  8. Process Audit Molded product per Control Plan.
  9. Review parts per Quality Standards.
  10. Communicate with Molding Personnel (Molding Manager, Shift Supervisor, Cell Leader or Process Technician). If “suspect” or “defective” product exists.
  11. NCM product per NCM procedures.
  12. First Piece Approval.
  13. Sign first piece approval to signify all parts are of Acceptable Quality.
  14. Communicate with Molding Personnel (Molding Manager, Shift Supervisor, Cell Leader, or Process Technician) if “suspect, defective, or if first piece lacks needed signatures.”
  15. NCM product per NCM procedure.
  16. Communication and Housekeeping.
  17. Communicate between shifts and Molding Management.
  18. Clean final audit prior to end of shift.
  19. Lab must remain clean per 5S Standards.

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Completion of all other duties as assigned by the department manager.

Education & Experience:

  1. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  2. Knowledge of or ability to learn Statistical Process Control.
  3. Knowledge of or ability to learn proper use of gauges, check fixtures, and Scan Box.
  4. Knowledge of or ability to learn proper use of hand held measuring equipment.
  5. Knowledge of or ability to learn proper use of computerized data collection devices.
  6. Knowledge of or ability to follow Control Plans.
  7. Ability to learn ADAC Quality System.
  8. Knowledge of or ability to read blue prints.


Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Lifting boxes up to 50 lbs.
  2. Frequent bending or twisting.
  3. Standing for 8 hours, possibly 12 hours per day, and possibly weekends.
  4. Ability to use hand held measuring equipment.
  5. Ability to use gauges and check fixtures.
  6. Safety Glasses
  7. Covered shoes
