Summary: Actively maintain current knowledge of trauma education programs and processes to fully support all relevant stakeholders with accurate and timely guidance. Interact daily by phone, email, zoom/teams and in person (during meetings and conferences) with learners, faculty, course administrators, hospitals, committee and work group members, and other constituencies associated with trauma education. Support relevant projects and processes to help ensure compliant, effective, and quality trauma education programs. Continuously contribute to improving efficiencies and outcomes, while supporting the organization and maintenance of existing documentation and standard operating procedures.
This exempt position will report to the Assistant Director, Trauma Education Programs in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.
Required Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
- At least 1+ years of experience in a professional office environment, including project coordination, administrative support, and/or customer service is preferred. Non-profit, education, or association experience is a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to facilitate virtual/hybrid meeting technology (Zoom, Teams, or similar).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
