9 October 2025Academy Bus is seeking an experienced Commercial Motorcoach Upholstery Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in full upholstery refurbishing for motorcoaches, buses, or similar large vehicles.
Pay range: $25.00-$35.00 per hour. Pay rate based on candidate experience level.
Key Responsibilities:
Complete refurbishment of coach interiors, including:
- Fitting and replacing passenger seats
- Headliner installation and repair
- Side panel refurbishment
- Parcel rack fitting and repair
- Flooring replacement and finishing
- Ensure all work meets safety standards, durability requirements, and customer expectations
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- Minimum5 years of upholstery refurbishing experience(motorcoach or bus industry preferred)
- Proficiency with upholstery tools, materials, and installation techniques
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Ability to lift, move, and install large interior components
- Reliable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
