Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to run our union office. The ideal candidate will provide full administrative support for the Glendale Teachers Association.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring efficient office operations and providing full administrative support for the Glendale Teachers Association
Work under the direct supervision of the Association President and/or designee and also provide support for the GTA’s Executive Director
Attend GTA related meetings and appropriate office trainings as needed
Compile information and create/maintain databases
Basic bookkeeping and accounting
Other related duties as assigned
Skills:
Time management and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Knowledge of Google Suite for organizing documents
Knowledge of QuickBooks for basic bookkeeping
Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with educators
Excellent phone etiquette
Experience in front desk operations to manage tasks effectively
Ability to manage calendars accurately and coordinate appointments smoothly
Proficiency in data entry for maintaining accurate records
Attention to detail for proofreading documents
Job Type: 35 hours per week. Work Location: In person Schedule: Day shift, No weekends Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour based on experience.
