Oligation:
  • Perform thorough evaluations to assess clients' speech, language, and swallowing skills.
  • Create customized therapy plans based on assessment results and client goals.
  • Collaborate closely with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to set and monitor therapy objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes, therapy plans, and progress notes.
  • Stay updated on advancements in speech-language pathology through continuous professional development.
  • Educate clients and families about various communication and swallowing disorders, offering practical strategies for improvement.
  • Deliver compassionate therapy services to clients with diverse communication and swallowing difficulties, ensuring individualized care and support.

Requirements

  • ASHA certification is essential for consideration
  • A Master's Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
  • Eligibility or possession of an SLP license in the state of Illinois
