Benco Dental is searching for a Software Engineer Intern for the Spring 2026 semester.

• Ability to communicate clearly, persuasively and effectively both verbally and written
• Good organizational skills
• Experience with development

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

• Effectively develops code and software as per specifications.
• Tests software that has been created or modified and documents changes to software.
• Troubleshoots and debugs software.
• Consistently and effectively updates ALM tool (Jira) with appropriate comments to track progress of work.
• Breaks down work into estimable pieces and delivers accurate and consistent difficulty estimates.
• Understands and applies abstract concepts, recognizes subtle interrelations, handles complexity, and is able to respond to questions quickly (mental ability and perceptiveness).

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

• Must be currently enrolled at time of internship in an undergraduate or graduate program in Computer Systems
• Ability to work up to 16 hours per week

The base pay range of $20/hour represents the the hiring pay for applicants that meet the minimum qualifications. Actual pay can vary and may be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The hiring pay listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include Benco Bucks, hands-on job experience, and potential full-time employment.
