Our Global Architecture & Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology. 

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Project Architect with comprehensive project delivery experience to join its Healthcare Practice Group located in San Diego.

Role Responsibilities:

Arcadis is looking for an individual who is passionate about whole-building design, has a keen interest in project delivery and in driving advancement of technical delivery within the practice and on projects, and seeks a role that allows ample opportunity to mentor and lead, while focusing on the technical development of mid-scale to large-scale Healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a strong team player who is highly proactive and detail oriented. This person will be comfortable communicating with colleagues, clients and consultants and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will work on:

• Representing Arcadis, coordinating with Design Team, PM, Contractor, and Client
• Review and respond/coordinate all submittals, RFI’s, change orders, amendments to construction documents, etc.
• Track schedule with contractor and client
• Mentor and direct junior staff in CA efforts
• Track TIO (testing, inspection, observation) form, amending as needed
• Coordinate with UC agency, HCAI, etc.
• Coordinate with Sr. PM for budget

Qualifications

• Licensed Architect in California
• 10+ years’ experience in Healthcare, Construction Administration, and with OSHPD/HCAI
• Experience with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)

Additional Information

The salary range for this position is $79,200 - $118,800 year.
