SUMMARY
o SQL Developer/DBAs will spend 70% coding vs. 30% administration Design, develop, implement, install, and maintain database systems in a multi server environment.
o SQL Developer/DBAs will be supporting 10 terabyte databases for SQL 2008 R2 up to 2016
o SQL Developer/DBAs will be supporting 20 multi-level servers, including both production and non-production
o Codes and implements stored procedures and triggers.
o At the higher levels, interface with the appropriate groups to ensure that database systems meet business requirements. This matrix applies to client server and mainframe Database Administrators. It does not apply to positions in a single server environment or those positions that work with desktop applications such as Excel or MS Access.
o Database and development subject matter expert with expertise in multiple platforms or deep expertise in a single platform.
o Design, data modeling and recommend data architecture by participating in the design reviews of logical data models. Research and recommend new technologies across platforms.

Requirements
o BSCS/MSCS (preferred) or equivalent 4 year Computer/Engineering degree
o 5-8 years of experience with MS SQL Server 2008+
o Participates in the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of enterprise level database systems for business applications
o Experience with backup/recover utility tools such as: Native SQL backup/restore
o Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server to install, upgrade, configure and maintain healthy database systems.
o Database design to produce sound logical and physical data models.
o SQL and coding techniques to code stored procedures, functions, and views.
o SQL Database Administration in performance tuning, re-indexing, and replication.
o Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams.
